Hebrew books, mainly of Talmudic and Biblical commentary,with Italian imprints predominating. Over half the volumes date from the 16th century.

History and development

Collected by Ludwig Blau (1861-1936), Director of the Jewish Theological Seminary of Budapest. Purchased by Glasgow University in 1937.
